3.5 Keyboard
No solvents such as alcohol are allowed to clean the Keyboard or
Display. Use a mild nonabrasive detergent and a soft cotton cloth.
Do not soak the Keyboard as the Keyboard is not waterproof.
3.6 Power
Internal Power
The Scan Tool has a 9V battery that provides
power for off-car reviewing and analysis. Press
the power key to turn on the Scan Tool.
Note: If the Scan Tool is stored for a long period of time, remove
the battery to prevent damage to the Scan Tool.
External Power
The Scan Tool is powered via the vehicle's DLC. Just
follow the steps below to turn on the Scan Tool:
1. Connect the OBD II Cable to Scan Tool.
2. Find the DLC on vehicle.
3. Plug OBD II cable to the vehicle's DLC.
